In the forest

An experiment I have had in my head for months. Used lengths of various yarns for the birch trees - quite textured picture.

Very, very nice! How did you hang it on the wall? I've been trying to find a nice & easy way to display a few wet felt items that I've made.

Thank you Pink Knitter - I use birch or willow sticks . I sew them on with yarn ,top and bottom, usually on the back. I don't like to frame them in a conventional way as I think it is nice to be able to feel them too!

Thank feltfinland - great idea. When you have your camera out, would you consider snapping a pic of the back? It would be so helpful to see exactly how you sewed the sticks on. I recently felted this

feltfinland: Good for you. It's obvious from your work that you not only know how to felt, but you are also an artist. Your pieces are like paintings. Much luck!!!
