My daughter Shona (right) and her pal Alannah enjoying their dual 18th birthday party last August.
I like this shot by the way their good friendship is so obvious and the gentle way Shona holds Alannah's hand. I always think that friendships made at school at that age can last a lifetime, even as they go on to lead different lives.

WOW - they're gorgeous! We're planning another trip back to Ireland in early May and our son Matt wants to come. He hasn't been back to Ireland since he was 10, but John, he's still single and has that Irish twinkle in his eye - I don't know if he should come. He may never return after seeing lassies like this! What do you think? LOL
