I love this halfmarathon in Schönberg, Schleswig Holstein, Germany. We took part the third time and like the last times I enjoyed the wonderful routing through saltmarsh and approx. 6 kilometers onto the dike. Concerning the long distance onto the dike opinions differ. My boyfriend doesn't like it very much because for him it's so boring to run straightahead while the landscape is always the same. I know this feeling, because I also feel bored when I have to run a long straight road, but for some reason I love this section onto the dike.
In the evening we visited the "Seebar", and I had a funny experience with the overheard talk of the couple at my side. She: "Oh, it's such a nice place here with the sunset and the water... " He: "Yes, you are from Göttingen, for you it is terrific. But I feel bored in a way." Strange concept of romantic, I think ;-)
