This is a 3 Exposure hand held HDR of the B-52 Bomber Stratofortress at the Arc Light Memorial on Andersen Air Force Base Guam, USA. I just had to stop by here before leaving back to Hawaii. Oversaturated.

8th A.F. Intelligence 9-72 to 1-74. How moving a tribute to these brave men. I was with 8th AF INTI during Linebacker II. We felt a personal loss when we got the mission summaries back that sid "Hit by SAM during PRT".

Beautiful photo! I was stationed on Andersen and I used to jog around this memorial. I even spent a couple of days participating in a major refurbishing project when I had a week off during the holidays. It must have been 1989 or maybe 1990.

While in the US Air Force and stationed in Guam, I approved the movement of this A/C to be displayed here. Every few dozen years these A/C are reworked and repainted .
