Funny how a tree looks the same above ground as it does below..or this is how I would picture it below ground..

This is a place visited by many, of all types. The first time I drove by in 2006, it was in very good condition, all of the windows in tact, no plywood, just a vacant building.

Since that day in 2006 this place has seen many visitors, from the looks of it, mostly people bent on destruction.

Funny how someone, every year, places a wreath on the door...

maybe someone uses it for their Christmas cards.

I noticed it was picked up by another realtor and wondered if it was being razed, so I drove by and snapped a shot and said hi to the homeless living in the trailer behind it.

interested in 45 prime acres with river and rail access, a beautiful view of a coal pile and plenty of industrial chemicals in the ground?

Checking out a place tonight I stopped and took a shot under a rail bridge.

I will say, I really like the new lens.

The winter sun blankets the snow on a local pond. They say timing is everything, when I look to the sky and see sunlight like this, I find a place to watch it.

Even though it was quite cold, I stayed a while just to witness the beauty of my surroundings.
