#65: two former presidents
president alejandro toledo of peru on the left...president vicente fox of mexico on the right.
both former presidents were speaking at the stanford business school in the evening but Pres Toledo arranged for both of them to have a seminar with our current fellows over lunch. the chef and I were in the back of the room and I used the "zoom" which made for a lousy pic. later they went out on the patio and graciously posed for picutres with staff and fellows but I was so busy taking pics with a staff member's camera I forgot my own.

sazzy, you had this chance to take cool pics and we get blurry and borrowed? hmm...can you ask the staff member to see if any of those pics turned out? This is a darn shame. I need to see what Vicente Fox looks like.
P.S. susan mentioned you can get a guest to come on...um...certain days...ahem...like for instance...ME! I could take shots for YOU. Like when a certain female celebrity comes to make a commencement speech. I'd really love to come take pics on that day, oh, boy would I!

Blue....that one may just be lunch with the officers (not a speech or seminar).
Joel wanted to have me take a pic of Fox with his camera and we stood around arguing cuz I kept telling him to just go out there and take the pic! finally I was worried he'd miss the entire thing so I grabbed his camera and ran....by then they were allowing staff to stand with them so I pushed Joel up there and took pics with his camera...he was really thrilled so I'm not sorry I missed my chance. lousy tho this is...
the chef caught some good ones.

That must have been one interesting seminar. There's something about the blurry pic that makes it feel like something urgent was going on here.
