See the Falls on Black

For me, this scene has that Jurassic Park look and feel to it. This shot is a little down stream from the view in the comments shot. This of course is the magnificent Iguazu Falls from the Argentina side.

I'm pretty happy with the amount of quality images I got in only 1.5 days. Can only hope to get back again someday.

See the Light on Black

This Striated Heron was perched on a branch poking out of the Ariau River, which is a small tributary off of the Rio Negro in the Amazon Rainforest.

Though I only had up to a 200mm with me on this trip, I was happy with a handful of the wildlife shots including this one. A birder could spend a lifetime down there.

See the Lion on Black

This winter hasn't been the most productive photography-wise, but a recent trip to NYC provided for a few shots around the city. The Big Apple never fails to provide for something worthy of shooting. This of course is one of the famous lion statues outside the New York Public Library Main Branch.

I thought the b&w helped to accentuate some of the cool architectural details.
