I was going to equate the sign design to
Peter Max but I see great minds do think
alike! I saw Peter Max at a campus function
as a freshman in college. That was 1967 or 8.
The old privately owned restaurants beat any
chain any time..........who cares if you get
diarrhea from the bowl of chili ya just ate
here..........it was soooo good going down ;)
great 7 -up sign .i met peter max some time
ago ,showed him a picture of my 7-up sign
witch is 4ft by 6ft lited building sign .as
soon as he seen it he called his wife and
said look at this,i did this for 7-up back in
the day ,but they did not accept it .and used
it the next year with out his permission. he
told me he was doing so well with the beatles
albums he did not go after 7 up. my sign has
the same pattern as yours but no name on it
.mine was on a beer dist. in levittown n.y.
hempstead tpk and denton ave .

Sad to see the disrepair and odd window and door refits.

Probably the only place in town too. This building was probably fairly prominent in its day.

I wonder if Peter Max designed that 7up sign back in the 70s.
