The FAIL!!1s of 365

The FAIL!!1s of 365

Lets celebrate the images we had to take sometimes (for me it was more often than not) during the course of the Project 365!

Day 365/365: A succesfull failure

Day 365/365: A succesfull failure

I like to end things with a bang.

Happy New Year!

Here is the link to the whole set

Project 365 summary:
It was hard. In my mind I had to take cool and beautiful pictures for 365 days. Sure, I read that 365 was not about 365 "photographs" but of 365 exposures that don't need to be cool and beautiful, but I just couldn't stop thinking like that.
I can't even believe the crap I took pictures of because my mind was a blank or I came home tired or [insert your usual excuse here], you know. For that reason I will take down those photos and create a collage/mosaic image with them. No sense in them uglifying my photostream even more :D
Several times I got fed up, but not of photography but of the notion that I HAD TO TAKE A PICTURE. That's just my personality I guess.
Enough with the complaints, here comes to GOOD!
I went to a workshop which I probably wouldn't have done otherwise and it was fantastic. I attended local photo club meetings. I bought some light modifiers (which I still have to learn to use). I put my gear to the ultimate stress test during a climb in the mountains (Mojstrovka). I watched various online courses in photography (thanks creativeLive). I learned to use my equipment!
And finally I learned what I like and don't like in photography. All that's left is to start doing the things I like. Once those are mastered then I can try doing other stuff.
I couldn't have done it without the support of my wife and friends. So I dedicate this to my wife because she kept reminding me to take a picture and modeling and giving me ideas when I was creatively drained. And to my friends for supporting me and lending me gear as well as posing. I want to thank them for being there for me so thank you Marijana, Kristina, Marko, Bruno, Alenka, Ana, Pero, the teachers from the workshop (Stripy, Krešo) and the crew and teachers from creativeLive for making such a wonderful source of knowledge and inspiration available for free.
