I collect those tacky pens you see sold at rest stops, airports, and souvenir shops, also known as "floaty pens." Many of these were gifts from friends. This photo has notes.

    Pretty good collection. My dad is a pen enthusiast but more along the lines of the high end wood and metal bodied ones with all the fancy work. A couple of times when he's come up to Boston I've taken him to the Bromfield Pen Shop.

    wonderful!

    i just discovered the floaty pen group. my heart is sorta breaking seeing your collection since i gave my extensive floaty pen collection to a friend for his birthday because i was cleaning out my bedroom at my mom's house. his wife cherished them so much, she wrote me into her children's book. so i guess the trade-off was worth it.
