Day 25 - A fear

    For reasons I cannot explain, I have this fear that I will be magically teleported to middle of the ocean, miles from shore, in the dark. Like, I just {{POOF}} into the middle of the ocean with no rhyme or reason and have to swim to shore. I'm concerned magic-poof technology exists and someone will use it on me.

    I really hope that doesn't happen.

      I wish this magic-poof technology existed, but as an alternative to timely air travel. Great photo.

      i doubt that poof technology exists ;)

      i have major fears of water and almost drowned twice as a kid. i didn't learn to swim until i was 18. and once, i decided to take surfing lessons in hawaii? all i did was lay face down on the board, floating. the instructor was like, "you are gonna have to take this really, really slow!" ha!

      Me too, but I can't help but worry it would be used for no good. Especially if the Italian mafia got their hands on one.
      I think the FBI has a poof machine.
      Your fear isn't irrational because you almost drowned! If something *actually* almost killed you, you're allowed to be afraid of it, within reason. If you were afraid of rain, then we'd need to have an intervention.
      On the clear days like this, when the south bay is visible, I always think, "Hi ."
