For Christmas my wife bought me a unique piece of art, an 'exquisite corpse' drawing from the Nelson book launch at Gosh Comics. Pretty amazing to have one piece of paper featuring the work of Jonathan Edwards, Sarah McIntyre AND Warwick Johnson Cadwell! I was delighted, and it now takes pride of place next to the page of original art from Warwick's Kanu (which Mrs G gave me for Christmas in 2010!)

James Howard (@themooks on Twitter) ran a great 'Draw Batman' meme last year. He's followed that with 'Draw Hellboy' and the response has been amazing. mookiest.tumblr.com/post/14938165414/draw-hellboy
Here's my contribution, inspired by one of my favourite Hellboy stories, 'Pancakes'.

It's that time of year when I dust off this festive image and re-post it. The idea of Santa Claus as 'sha-man of the North Pole' comes from The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen. The rather obvious gag of casting the bearded author of that book as the shaman is my own.
