posted this for Art Wolfe on fb. The little bit of interaction I've had with him through mutual charities and photography have shown him to be "pee your pants" funny, ginormously talented and endlessly inspiring both as a photographer and as a human being.
If you live under a rock in a bottomless cave and have not looked at his work - you should definitely check it out:) Better yet- go hear the man speak! I walk away every time with tears in my eyes from either lmao or from being moved beyond words.

Today I go to the dermatologist for my 6 month check up since my diagnosis of melanoma - so I will reiterate my challenge to all of you - take care of you! nobody else can:)

I get the feeling on his FB page that it's one of his lackeys doing all the posting. But I only recently found his show on PBS and have been recording it. Seems like a very likable guy, even though he shoots with Canon.

Update~ 2 more biopsies for little Miss Melanoma ~ but the original site that was positive for cancer is clear! YAY! and, I have come to look at the biopsies as a positive thing - believe it or not - catching the Baddies before they can be bad:)
and, Regarding my horizon (Art Wolfe:) ~ I sometimes choose to cut the frame in half like that - vivisection appeals to me:) Me thinks it's might be my Gemini tendency toward twin imagery and reflection and as well as an innate battle between light and dark
