      Fairly unusual appearance, perhaps because of the flower not being fully open yet.

      What is unusual about this flower. It looks similar to the others in this set that were near one another in the park. Thanks.

      I think it is partly that the petals haven't completely expanded and so are overlapping more than normal, but also the anthers seem more grooved and short, again because the flower hasn't completely expanded probably, and reddish, in combination with the less prominent crescent. Also the hairs on the side of the glands are normally yellow/golden and some of these are pink-red.
