    Located south of the Brandenburg village of Sacrow, The Protestant Church of the Redeemer (German: Heilandskirche am Port von Sacrow) lies on shore of the Havel. Because of its position and style, the unusual church, often simply called the Heilandskirche, was built in the Italian-style with a freestanding campanile (bell tower) in 1844. The design was based on drawings by the Romantic on the Throne, Friedrich Wilhelm IV. Ludwig Persius, the Architect of Kings, received the commission for the project.

    Südlich des Brandenburger Dorfes Sacrow steht am Havelufer die Heilandskirche am Port von Sacrow, die auf einer Landzunge in den Fluss hineinragt. Die aufgrund ihrer Lage und ihres Stils außergewöhnliche Kirche, vereinfacht „Heilandskirche“ genannt, entstand 1844 als sakrales Gebäude im italienischen Stil mit freistehendem Campanile nach Zeichnungen, die der „Romantiker auf dem Thron“, Friedrich Wilhelm IV., entworfen hatte. Der „Architekt des Königs“, Ludwig Persius, erhielt den Auftrag zur Bauplanung.

      Danke, nach den eher düsteren Schwarz-Weiß-Sepia Motiven schwelge ich jetzt mal im krassen Gegenteil :-D

      Genau meine Meintung, ab und zu muss das einfach mal sein. Die G9 hab ich mir als immer-dabei Kamera zugelegt und bin jetzt ganz angetan. Vor allem die Komposition ist mit dem für Canon-Verhältnisse gutem Screen leichter als mit dem Winzig-Dunkel-Sucher der 350D.

      ...sauber! Hat was von HDR. Sieht mit dem Wasser und den Säulen ein bisschen "unreal" aus...aber gute Arbeit...
