    Portrait painted this afternoon at the life drawing session in Leith. It's my first go with water-mixable oils and I think it went okay - while it felt a little more like watercolour tubes or acrylic than oils, at least I didn't have to deal with white spirit at the end of it all.

    Oils on canvas-texture paper, 17.6cm x 25.5cm (6.9" x 10")
