      hmm .. sean penn did a bad imitation of him a few years back in baghdad. what an ass. sean penn, that is. my friends at the SF Chronicle met him and he was a jerk. A short jerk, to boot. Ah, but James, he was a kindly soul as we all know from watching East of Eden.
