My Mama

This was my Mother's high school senior photo.

My sister, Becky, looks most like my Mother....at least I think so.

Barbie, John and I all favor Dad........John walks, stands, smiles and has Dad's every facial expression. Sometimes it's eery when I see John....he looks so much like my Dad. I remember once he said he caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror and "saw Dad"....

I have his strong stubborn Irish blood.....and determination. Sometimes it let's me down when it doesn't kick into gear......but other times it has saved the day.

Barbie resembles Dad but has a combination of both parents. Barbie has Mom's "black / brown" eyes......I have Dad's light brown shade and so does my daughter. My sister, Becky, and brother, John, both have blue eyes.

Oh gosh.....I look at her and miss her even more. She was the best Grandmother any child could ever ask for......and a pretty darn good Mama too.
