Sephora - formerly Scribner Book Store

This great store front and building was originally built to house Charles Scribner's book store. This elegant 10-story Beaux Arts-style building was designed by famed architect Ernest Flagg, Scribner's brother-in-law. The book store saw its last day on January 22, 1989. Prior to the cosmetic and beauty store which now occupies the space, Benetton had a store here.
