So last weekend, Autumn turned 7 months old. I seriously can't believe that we're over 1/2 way to her 1st birthday.
The learning & development happens fast & furious now.
She is desperate to crawl but continually frustrated because she can't get the hang of it. She's also keen on pulling herself up onto her knees from sitting. James and I are the most commom 'things' to cling to.
Other things she's doing:
*clapping
*This week she's added 'b-b-b'to her existing vocabularly of 'da-da-da', 'mum, mum, mum' (that's her favourite chant) and 'nan, nan, nan'
*Working on her pincer grab (picking things up using forefinger & thumb).
She still has a good appetite but is starting to show her preferences for certain foods over others. This means that for meals I have to have a couple of options to hand in case she doesn't like the first thing that's served up - this is particularly true of pureed food because she enjoys feeding herself with finger food.
