Beautiful piece. I've been to Utah a number of times but never got past Salt Lake City.

Isn't this at the city park? I am pretty sure the artist is a local artist named Peter Fillerup. Very good artist and friend....we ride together in the mountains above Heber when we can find time.

@ssilbermanlaw--Thanks for the invitation.
@kevinfparker--Yes, this is in the city park. This must be the Peter Fillerup work called "Journey's End" which depicts William Madison Wall.
I have also posted a photo of the Miner in Park City, by Peter Fillerup.

Do you know that this is my 4th great grandfather? I'm so proud to have this great man in my family history.

Anybody know how to get copy from Peter Fillerup or otherwise purchase small replica...my great-great grandfather, former Sheriff of Provo during early years when US Army fort Camp Floyd and saloons contributed to community strife. He also contracted construction of the first road through Provo Canyon which received praise from General Johnston. Before this he was one of the first Bishops in Provo, Captain of militia, mission to Australia, returned as leader on ship with several converts, negotiated unremarkable peace settlement with Utes east of Heber with a big fall feast instead of fighting. Died at about age 47, early settler near Heber.

Oops not "unremarkable" but "a remarkable peace..."

Sorry, I don't know how to get a replica.
