Chicago/Elkhart Lake/Schaumburg -

MINI Takes the States kicks off at UIC friday night for an "owners only" meet-n-greet. A great way to rub elbows with MINI people and see many friends.

The next morning, MINIs meet at Lincoln Park Zoo to rally up to Elkhart Lake, WI. Traffic on 94 made the going VERY SLOW. But we eventually arrive and enjoy the rest of the day.

I drive home saturday during the Blues Traveler concert, but meet the MINIs at the Ridemakerz store at Woodfield Mall on Sunday to build my complimentary MINI.

Lots of MINIs and many friends to meet. I didn't get a pic of everyone I know.. I always seem to do that. Too much talking on my part I guess. A big HELLO to all my MINI friends(old and new) - Steve, Matt, Ken, Conrad, Paul/Barbara, Dave, Marco, Adam/Michelle, Arnie/Lena, Becky/Bruce, Dennis, Michael, Sarah, Chris, Mike/lil Mike, Kevin, Jenny, Jon, Dan/Katie, Jim, Chris, Holly/Chris, Chad/Tori, Paul, Tom, Warren, CORNy JIm, Big Dan, Waylen, Molly/Paul, Todd, Anthony, Theresa/Wade and.... well.. I'll have to rack my brain for everyone else I might have forgotten.

A very good weekend for sure. Let's do it again soon!!!
