Testing My New Lens

Testing My New Lens

After lots of thoughts and calculations I decided to buy my 7th lens , the Tamron 70-200mm f2.8. I could not afford a Nikon since the price is 3 times higher than Tamron.

Still struggling to handle it , with its weight and size, I hope this lens will produce good street photography when I travel soon.

This Used To Be My Playground

This Used To Be My Playground

I had a chance to visit my previous project last week when I visited Putrajaya.

I did not complete the project but I did complete my working contract for this project.

I refused to extend my contract.
The reason being was that - I was not able to work with a bad company who was not supporting me, dealing with the worst contractor in the industry and corrupted people ( not all) from the client ( the Developer).

It's good to see the project is completed but sad it took more than 2 years to complete.

I just did a collection of my close-up photography on photo video which can be viewed here : www.youtube.com/watch?v=1cCG23e1kzQ&list=UUO9rt_J8pKm...

My New Neighbour

My New Neighbour

I met Waqar in the food court in a shopping mall nearby my house. Waqar is from Pakistan and running one of the food shops in the shopping mall with his wife. Both Waqar and his wife were originally from Azad Jammu Kashmir in a town of Mirpur- a place where I used to worked and lived for 1.5 years. Waqar was residing in Karachi before coming to Malaysia.

The funny thing was that Waqar and his wife staying in the same apartment as I am but different block. He paid me a visit and we did unplanned photoshoot.

A Syrian Guy In Malaysia

A Syrian Guy In Malaysia

It was funny how I met Gheath, a Syrian guy who is running a bakery and Arabian food cafe and Arabian grocery at the same place.

Last 2 weeks, I was craving for satay and drove to Kajang - a 20 minute drive town from my place. But unfortunately I got lost in Kajang, and missing the junction to the satay places many times. Giving up and hungry, I was still driving a round and found Gheath's shop around. And I was not disappointed with the food and the price of the groceries.

I brought a friend for lunch at his cafe today. Gheath is friendly and good as before.

Tribal Accessories Collection 3 - The Bangle

Tribal Accessories Collection 3 - The Bangle

I bought this simple tribal bangle when I was in Pakistan. This metal accessory has Lapis Lazuli stone - the blue stone which can be found in Afghanistan as part of the design.

Even though this one is not that expensive, I cherish the memory of this bangles which reminds me a lot about the Northern Areas of Pakistan..
