Vandercook SP15 Restoration

I'm restoring a Vandercook SP15 located at Rubel Farm ("The Pharm") in Glendora, CA. I started restoring it in July 2008. This set is documenting my progress.

Any tips or advice you can give me about cleaning would be most welcome! I've been using CLR for the rust and Simple Green for most of the grit and grime. For the really tough stuff, like caked on ink, I'm using Goo Gone.

Oh yeah, and keep in mind that I just started on this letterpress journey, so if I'm doing something wrong, it's completely out of ignorance (so let me know nicely!). My first time on a press was 7-26-08!
