It was almost 4 pm & we were sitting on the shore admiring the lovely vista.. The ambience was calm & tranquil.. My brain was active & eyes were scanning the things around.. This anchored boat caught my attention.Almost in the water ready to sail, yet bound by the anchor preventing it.. seemed like a perfect metaphorical representation of the state of mind which one is in at some point of time; almost ready to follow the passion yet some opposing forces preventing us from following our heart.

Rainy season was almost over & one day the rain gods were making their presence felt before bidding adieu.. Atmosphere was very stormy with lots of thundering & lightning with heavy rainfall.. It was a pretty risky move to take my camera out in the open when it was raining & lightning.. Didn't want to miss an opportunity though.. Went up to my terrace, spent 20 mins marking the regions where it was ligtning frequently.. Then realised, to get a better vista i'll have to go to a higher position.. climbed the water tank on d terrace & VOILA !!!! Now 'I' was the highest point of my terrace now.. a prime target for lightning to strike :P :D placed the cam on tripod, selected d frame, umbrella in one hand to protect the cam & kept shooting long exposures for almost 80 mins ! Finally got a shot with lightning!!.. was very elated :) It was worth all the effort.. had lotsa fun !

The night series ends (probably :P ) with this shot clicked outside CST.. The indicator was reflected in the puddle of water prompting me to stop clicking n catch d first train home .. :)

This was clicked on the same night (previous photo) while going to Andheri Station.. I had a watchful eye on the meter.. for obvious reasons :P So, instead of getting frustated by watching it run faster than expected, i thought of observing it through the viewfinder ;)

Clicked this one at CSIA, Mumbai from the the GATE A departure area.. the structure seen here is the parking lot.. couldn't get best of the composition cos I wasn't carrying a tripod dat day.. So had to rest my cam on the fence & click it.
