This is a great picture. Do you have editing software?

Thanks Kelly. So far I only use the Nikon PictureProject software to edit and really it is just to crop. I have not learned how to edit yet. I have been reading a lot about the software on the flickr Nikon D50 site, trying to figure out if I want the Nikon or Adobe editing software.

I really love this photo but with editing software you could really make it pop! I use Paint Shop Pro X2 only because there is no way I'm spending a gabillion dollars on Photoshop. Paint Shop Pro is really user friendly. I would love to edit this photo, let me know if I can borrow it! I can show you what PSP can do...not that I'm telling you to buy it just show and tell.

Feel free to edit away. I would love to see what can be done and learn about it. I changed the rights to this so hopefully you can download it with no problem. If not, I will e-mail it to you. I did try to edit some of the pictures I took from my recent trip to Baveria and the Fairy Tale Castles of King Ludwig II. One of them is the castle that Disney used as a model for their signature castle. If you have a chance, let me know that you think.

Is this the one you edited?

    7. jstudts (52 months ago | reply)

Yes, this is the one. Maybe I should have left the old one up too. Instead I just replaced the old one.

I could tell that it was edited. It looks alot cleaner! You did a great job! The grass looks alot greener and the trees look alot sharper. I do agree with you, leaving the people in the picture was a better option. It shows just how big that statue is!

Thanks for all the nice comments on my two newest pics. Those were all done in paint shop pro using textures and layers.
