The Wild & The Innocent juxtaposes portraits of bodies and landscapes culled from various photographers' personal archives. How do these pictures of the human body and natural landscapes relate to one another? How do the two, when shown together, affect our perceptions of nature and ourselves? The Wild & The Innocent seeks to complicate the modern oppositional relationship between the body and nature in order to explore the truths of our own transience and infinitude -- our dual limitlessness and powerlessness -- as reflected in the wilds of nature and the slopes of the human form.
Included in this exhibition are emerging and established photographers, constantly seeking to reframe the ways we perceive our environment and bodies.

de Joode & Kamutzki Auction
On Thursday the 15th of December, at 20.00h the auction house De Joode & Kamutzki Auctions will host its second auction.
Address: Kottbusser damm 75, doorbell deJoode&Kamutzki.
De Joode & Kamutzki was founded in the beginning of 2011 by artist/curator Rachel de Joode and performer/auctioneer Maria Kamutzki.
"We wish to make contemporary art accessible to all. We don't see art as a luxury good that one might consider purchasing when they already have everything else that money can buy. Our mission is to inspire you to invest in great artwork not for the sake of its resale value, the status symbol attached to it or as a way to spend surplus money. We want people to buy art out of love, fascination and admiration. Because art is essential."
Preparing each auction exclusively with a different focus, our second auction will present works made by women. We invited 20 international emerging to mid-career female artists working in the field of photography, sculpture, digital arts, drawing or painting. The artists work in diverse fields with differing aesthetic sensibilities. What combines them is their conceptual approach.
24 artpieces will be auctioned, please have a peak at our artworks/artists here.
