The Order of the Phoenix

    The Harry Potter series has joined my list of best loved books.
    What a wealth of colorful characters are in those magical tales!
    Among my favorites is Fawkes, professor Dumbledore's pet phoenix
    Fawkes comes to Harry's aid more than once as the tales unfold.
    Like all phoenix, Fawkes can disappear in a fiery death and be reborn .
    This brooch captures a moment when the phoenix bursts into flame.
