Olga At North Glenmore Park
Olga Mikhaylovskaya and I were at North Glenmore Park on the evening of 23 August 2011. The temperature as I recall was near 30C/86F.
We met about one month prior to discuss working together. However, our schedules and weather prevented us. Finally, our schedules and weather meshed.
One of the motivations for Olga is to get pictures of herself to show her family back in northern Russia. I hope they enjoy the pictures.
On a tangential note, you might enjoy this YouTube of Jeremy Cowart giving his TED presentation: youtu.be/79fSnhm8IIc.

Duration: 1/250 second

Focal Length: 70 mm
Camera: Canon EOS 50D
Lens Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM

Other equipment: Gitzo Tripod, Speedlite 580EX II, PocketWizard MultiMAX, California Sunbounce Micro-Mini (Zebra/White) Reflector, Sekonic Light Meter L-558
Special Notes: We chose a location in North Glenmore Park that is located near the surface of the Reservoir. Please see the location shown in the upper right hand corner. You can book this location if you call in advance. However, we were fortunate in that no one else had chosen the location.
As you can see from the photograph, it was nearly a cloudless day. The sun was much too bright for Olga to be looking toward the sun. So I positioned her back toward the sun and used my off-camera flash to light her. Consequently, the ambient looks slightly darker than it did when the picture was taken.
