*CantBuyMeLove* [new icon]'s photostream  

This time last year the DC region was encrusted in a thick shell of ice. Today I went for a run in shorts and a t-shirt. So, yes, Mother Nature is off her meds again :)

A 200-second exposure from a crisper morning earlier this January. My tripod was set up about 15 inches from the ground and I'm not exactly sure why the water was exposed nearly white here. Mid-week...everyone gonna make it?

Winter has finally caught up to the DC area…not so much in the precipitation department, but definitely with the thermometer. Today may be the last time we see that giant glowing orb in the sky for some time.

Said orb gave me quite a show rising over the motionless Potomac River on a mild morning earlier this January. This is a 30-second exposure of some pylon remnants of an old pier and the Maryland shore in the distance. Just to the left and out of frame is the existing pier, which made an appearance in my photostream a few photos ago.
