Two Paths Through the Tangled Japanese Forest
Daily Photo - Two Paths Through the Tangled Japanese Forest
The day in Kyoto had a steady light rain. When I was going through
this forest, I was able to lower the umbrella. The little droplets
seemed to get caught up in the upper canopy of the trees. Big drops
would plop down from time to time, but it was kind of nice, in a
storybook way.
I got to this point and couldn't decide which way to go... which way would you have gone?

Wonderful scene and vivid colors. I just love Japanese gardens, but I had no luck yet, to visit some.
I would go right, it looks more interesting and not straight forward path.

I would have gone up, ie to the left, where there appears to be more light and where I could look down at all the angles in this interesting scene. Fabulous shot, really evokes the greenness of the place!!

woa, the perspective of this one is kinda trippy.. had to adjust my sights there.. for me, definitely the right path.. into that dark forest!

Cool shot! Yip, me too, I would've gone right. The path looks a lot older, more mystery to it, so defo would've taken that one.

i'd take "the one less traveled by".

Fantastic Trey, as ever! What a wonderful place to explore - I also think the right path looks more interesting & mysterious, so that's where I would go next! Got my copy of A World in HDR yesterday, just in time for a good read over the hols (must have been from the first batch at Amazon UK that went out of stock initially from all the back orders, they have stock again now)

Fabulous shot. I would have taken the one on the far right, it looks more mysterious! You also can't see what is up at the top of the stairs and that piques my curiosity! Great perspective.

Based on your viewer responses, the path on the left would be the one less traveled. The one on the right still looks more interesting. . .
