Fantastic shot! Didn't it hurt when you hit the ground? I guess you gotta suffer for your art!

Or did you just photograph the SimCity box?

      Thanks all!

I took this the same time I took the following one, which is, for whatever reason, the number one HDR interesting picture in Flickr:

The sweet lady D2X is mine; Chicago, you are my first victim.

This shot is cool, but I like the first one you posted better (wider angle and darker hues).

How's the D2Xs coming along versus the D70? 4x better?

    24. Stuck in Customs (70 months ago | reply)

      Thanks all.

The D2X is a better camera for sure. Especially for flexibility. One problem is that it is SO detailed that you have to hold the camera EXTRA still so as not to blur the tiny bits. Bright sun is not a prob... but medium light conditions require the arms of a robot to keep this 40 pound camera steady!

      wow the coloros....it's simply...fantastic!well done!

    27. /\ltus (70 months ago | reply)

Thanks for mentioning that. May have to hold off on the purchase then, as keeping a steady arm isn't an option so long as Austin is strapped on my back!

This and your "The Airy Doom of the Duomo" are my favorite shots of all time. Not just out of your photos but out of thousands of photos I've seen on flickr.
For me, the perspective of this shot gives it the edge over your "My Kinda Town".
