I had the privilege to be invited by a neighbour to visit the Mosque,
it has a beautiful green dome which unfortunately I could not get from
this angle, as the building is situated on a hill and I was standing
in the parking yard.
I was interested and eager, always have been about different cultures.
I am a very liberal person, with respect for other people’s religion,
a great believer of Freedom and an enemy of -ISMS.
I know the Islamic population has had a lot of bad press, and some
extremist have indeed committed the most atrocious acts, but can
ANYBODY say, NOT MY PEOPLE?
I do not want to upset anybody or condone anything, I'm hoping for
some plain non-prejudicial viewing of something that is part of a huge
group within our population and not often seen by 'outsiders'.
I only gad to cover my head and take off my shoes inside. All the
people I met were very inviting, polite and also very proud to show me
around. All in all, another great experience added to my wonderful
collection.

Very interesting report Magda, Great series!
First, because the terrorist acts ALWAYS connected with the Islamic world, people meets this with the negative reaction!
However, it is a more COMPLEX problem that is not connected DIRECTLY with the religion or nationality. Moreover, such events as an ANTISEMITISM leads to the HUMAN'S kills, remembering the World War II. Many , many years the Belfast problem still exists, Chechnya problem too.All of this problems caused by the religion?Maybe.... Fortunately, your point of view is absolutely neutral and peaceful, Dear friend! Not connected with religion, off course. :)
There is a some philosophic things.... God loves you, and you love God. When we love each other, then God love us... i think so!

Gorgeous shot and I especially love the angle! At first glance I thought it was a Scottish castle or something...lol. Magnificent looking mosque.
Historically many things have been done in the name of many religions, that have nothing to do with religion. To fully understand we would have to go back to the beginning of time.
But this photo is about appreciating a moment in time...which you captured beautifully my friend...Bravo!
