Paradise Found, Adelaide _4864b

    Newer Older

View south from the third tee at the North Adelaide Golf Course with the city centre beyond. At 406 m (444 yds) Par 4, this hole is quite a challenge for the average hacker. Just getting a drive on the fairway is a test in itself. This is only 5 minutes 'drive' from my office. Almost like working in Paradise. Made it to Explore! Thank you everyone.

North Adelaide Golf Course, Adelaide, South Australia

PS Adelaide is not a very tall city - the pinkish building in the upper right is 32-floors and is our tallest. The city council imposes a height limit - not really sure why. Could be something to do with the proximity of the airport.

Wonderful composition with a fine sense of place. A bit different from the view from the Colonel Light statue.

Mate, in response to your comment! Put me out there with a golf stick and a ball, and there would be no green left, and I still wouldn't have hit the bloody ball! lol

A pretty nice tee shot too, a nice easier hole after the fairly tough par 5
