i love breakfast
To think that for about a dozen years I skipped it altogether. And it's not about the food most of the time (although when you have hot, fresh waffles it is). It's all about the experience and setting the day down the right path.
On Monday I made myself Belgian waffles with maple-glazed bacon pieces as a special treat, since we have such a celebratory weekend coming up. I wanted to celebrate my love for slow, happy mornings and really taking the time to enjoy them. This breakfast was a little Valentine's gift to myself. I hope you'll take some time to do something just for you this week, too!
