casting down golden crowns

casting down golden crowns

Trying to get back in the habit of creating Christmas postcard-like selfies/photos as a tradition.

The will is strong, but time management gets in the way.

The original plan was to just buy a wreath, but I couldn't find one suitable enough, so I resort to making one.
You will therefore have to applaud me of braving the Christmas Eve hordes in order to get the materials needed for the wreath.

Blog entry here!!! Yes, I have a blog now, come visit!

blow me a heart

blow me a heart

What actually came out from the primary shot was the balloon resembling a heart, honest to goodness. It delighted both Linwei and myself when I presented her and Marc the first edit. All she did was ask me to make it look more like a heart.

I don't really know what these are called, they are bubbles, but not of the soapy variety, and I used to play with them constantly as a kid. I got a whole box of them from Melaka last year. I do that, buy a whole bunch of stuff that appeals to nostalgia not knowing when I'll have use for them. My family and friends have learnt not to nag about that habit of mine so much because more often than not, I'll find a use for them.

Happy Friday people!!!

Affordable Art Fair this Saturday for me!!! I scored VIP tickets!!! Who's going???

nyeh nyeh nyeh!!!

nyeh nyeh nyeh!!!

Sneak peek of a casual photoshoot I did with Lin and Marc.

We went over to the new School of The Arts to make use of their impressive feature walls. These were made from planks of painted over steel/iron. I don't exactly know but from afar they look like wood!

I had the most fun with these two, they were always willing to play everything by ear and had spontaneity every step of the way.

Another one of their photos was uploaded on my facebook page. I fell in love with that one because the lighting and composition were so perfect especially after I made the conversion to monotone.

On a personal note, I think every end of the year is such a harrowing time period. There's always a struggle in keeping up with the volume of work with photography AND my dayjob.

Honestly, I don't regret being so inactive here. But sometimes I do miss the community.

DID Y'ALL HEAR THAT??? I SAID I MISSED YOU!!!

a picture of celebration

a picture of celebration

There's just so much joy and celebration happening in this photo. It is easily my favourite of their set because it epitomises their wedding dinner party that day; celebrating the moment with close friends.

This was a wedding that I was very happy to be a part of. The joy was so infectious, it truly reminded me of why I love doing this.

Winding down my night of editing, still have another engagement shoot to go through.

And that one is going to be a joy as well.

Will be uploading the album on my facebook page, all you gotta do is like!!!
