    Tikal, San Diego Zoo's newest jaguar cub (one of two), plays inside his enclosure. The month old twins have been melting hearts at the zoo.

      Thanks Ms. Petita! I added the name to the cutline. Yes, their dark, glass-covered enclosure is a bit of a challenge. I had some luck bouncing my flash off the ceiling and side walls.

      The male's name is Tikal, named after the Tikal national park in Guatemala.
      The female is Maderas, named after the Volcano in Nicaragua.

      Fantastic shot! I always have a problem with the glass in the den box, too, because it's so dark in there. Every now and then I stumble on the right settings. hahaha.
