The base of the largest statue on the bridge (the top depicts Saints John of Matha, Felix of Valois, and Ivan).

This depicts Christians enslaved by the Ottoman Turks.

another, maybe as a reminder to myself to be grateful and happy.
also, i put the focus a bit more on him and his dog in this one. the composition was essentially the same, but i toned it differently in hopes that the light would work with your eyes to lead them to him.

what melts me is that he has his dog wrapped in the blanket (it was quite cold) and seems to want donations of dog food as much as food for himself.
