      I'm surprised you haven't gotten more comments on this shot. I think it is great being in the background instead of right in your face like most Eiffel Tower shots. I really like it.

      I think this is a great shot too, and am surprised there aren't a lot more comments. Beautiful day, beautiful scenery! I would love to be in France! Well, maybe one day, I hope!

      I actually have a question about the Eiffel Tower... I saw it in the background on the TV one day, and it was twinkling. I tried to look up if it was a special thing for Christmas, or a holiday and found nothing! Am I halucinating?

      spring3day7, it twinkles every hour on the hour for ten minutes. They started the twinkling in 2000. You may like looking at the photos in the Eiffel Tower group
