Get Your Fruity Rainbow On!
Tons... and tons and tons and tons of fruits and vegetables arranged in a rainbow fashion. I actually made a full arch rainbow, the whole thing spanned a meter in length... it was HUGE.
Favorite part of the rainbow: Blackberries, Strawberries, Cherries, Pattypans and Plums. Nummy!

holy crap! first I thought "damn, she must have spent a fortune on that!" and then I thought "damn, they're gonna have their fruit and veggie intake for the next month!"

Yes... a small fortune indeed.
I did so many layouts of this damn rainbow fruit and veggie thing that if ever I need a shot I can more then likely pull from my vast ginormous archive of rainbowy veggie goodness.
Did you know alot of veggies and fruit keep you... erm regular?
hehehe
Andi, you should see the full rainbow. It. Is. Huge.

This is an excellent picture. As a Nutrition major, I learned about the "color rule" which basically says that the more colorful your food is, the more nutrients it contains. There is a reason why strawberries are red, carrots are orange and peas are green. The color of different types of food indicates the unique job that various antioxidants perform in the body. And no matter the color is, look to the ones with the deepest hues of that color because the deeper the hue, the higher nutrient value. One of the easiest ways to eat healthy is to eat fruits and veggies that represent each color group, ( red, yellow, green, purple/blue, orange, and white) basically color coding your diet. Everyday, eat a mixture of colors. For example : red apples, orange carrots, green peas, yellow bananas, blue blueberries, purple plums, white cauliflower. By doing so, your body will ingest everything that it needs on a regular basis. Therefore, "Getting Your Fruity Rainbow On" is exactly what you should be doing. Well done!!!

When I want to remember the colors in the visible spectrum, I just look at www.scooterplace.blogspot.com where seven Eagles are lined up in the correct order.
