Isabella's 6th Month
Isabella is scheduled in for a 6th month and a 1 year old session by her mother Jeannie. Isabella is the first child, so Jeannie wants all photos possible. I saw on her facebook that she takes photos of her with a point and shoot for every month she grows. Her crib is the cutest thing I've seen. it has a pinkish purple accent to it that allowed me to easily choose her colors for her name decorations.

I can explain!
Hello Fellow Flickr-ees!
I'm not sure how much of you still use flickr, let alone follow my photostream anymore. I've received emails asking me where I've been, why aren't I posting. I can explain!
Some of you may know I've started my journey here on flickr.com recommended by a Italian Professor who I use to work with while I was in college. I dipped my feet in, go sucked in, got addicted, taking my camera everywhere snapping away....and now what use to merely be hobby had unexpectedly transformed into a career that I can not be more than thankful for and ultimately love. You know people always say they would love to get paid for what they love doing? Well I am one of the few lucky ones that turned a passion into a career. I love it, I enjoy it, I wouldn't trade anything for it!
So why the MIA? This photostream was initially for HDR photography, so I didn't want to mesh wedding into it. Majority of the reason is that I got too booked and my schedule filled up quick that I had to push flickr to the side, and lost track of time and my interest in HDR.
How it happened? Since I always shared this link to family and friends, many assumed I went professional. WRONG! (at the time of course). Streams of request poured in with offering to pay me to do what I love. Since I was starting to be exposed to wedding photography here on flickr via Explorer's page. Since I was still in college and needed a second flow of income, I got the most crazy and outrageous idea and said "hey, maybe I should check Craigslist to see if anyone needs a 2nd shooter wedding photographer." Mariella and Natale contacted me special requesting that they prefer me as first photographer instead. I could feel a sweat trickling down my forehead and my brain screaming "No!!! no..noo...I must cannot be responsible for someone's once in a lifetime wedding photos" Initially I declined until they convinced me they had confidence in me, that if anything went wrong, I have a contract saying I am not responsible for it. I created a contract, met with the lovely couple, fell in love with them and their beautiful baby daughter, and did the wedding. Was I nervous? Well, the engagement session helped A LOT. My FIRST engagement session. I was ecstatic! I couldn't wait for it and the day of the e-session I got to know and spend time with the couple. I felt relaxed and so did they. I was confident to nail their wedding, with nervousness of course. And I did it. I covered my very first wedding and after that, I knew it was what I wanted to do. I found MY passion. I found what I want to live for; wedding photography.
Since then, I've stopped taking HDR photos. I know I'm known more for my HDR work on flickr. But my heart is with wedding photography. Not to say I'll never touch it again, it's just not my cup of tea anymore. Will I incorporate the two to create a artistic image? YES! But in the meantime, I want to focus on my website which is still under a facelift.
So there you have it, I've taken a turn in photography from HDR to wedding photography and I felt that I couldn't really post on flickr since it wasn't HDR. I admit, I afraid to upset my followers. I know it has, and I know they understand. I'm still not use to posting my wedding photos on here but I'll continue and hopefully one day I'll get a group of wedding photographers following me.
Now, I have my own photography business who specialized in weddings , at the same time taking photos of portraits, babies, glamour, headshots, events, etc. I shoot all my weddings alone, with a lighting assistant, sometimes a 2nd photographer, and at times I do have interns that I take along with me so they can jump start their passion too. I do this full time and I work out of my home office in Los Angeles.
