at a friend's birthday party - got treated to a little acoustic set between bands. all in all, a great night full of wonderful people.

My knees are still damp from kneeling in the garden to capture this early blooming crocus. The tulips and hyacinth are close behind, with a general frenzy of blooming bulbs happening already.

Not sure why flickr has given it a date of 2006, and keeps telling me that today's date is in the future...but whatever. It's a wonderfully quiet and rainy Saturday.

Still life of pale pink and white parrot tulips in a french blue vase.

Originally thought of this as an outtake from a recent saucy shoot with a fantastic model - turns out she likes this image quite a bit, and it ended up as part of the final selections.

Looking forward to more such shoots, minus the canvas backdrop. Anyone have any favorite seamless paper sources/brands they'd recommend?

Dusky bronze, gold and red, darkly beautiful cymbidium orchid flowers just barely capture the morning light.

Cut from the garden the other day - these are by far one of my favorites of the many beautiful outdoor orchids we have collected over the years.
