Dead D70s

Dead D70s by Rohan Phillips.
After some recent health problems my D70s passed away earlier this week.

R.I.P.

One SB900 to the right through a 60x60cm softbox at 1/2 power, triggered by Elinchrom Skyport.

I love it. But alas, all things must pass, to be replaced with something better. In your case a D300. Fine cameras, both of them.

Hearing of your loss made me shutter... for your beloved was no flash in the pan.

As you recover from the love you have lost, command yourself to playback the images of fun and joy you shared together... the light, which was shared during your time together.

Great idea. Getting a shutter replace isn't that big of a deal. I've had shutters go in every camera I've owned, F3, F4, n90s (every 9 months) D1H, D200s, etc., except the D300 (140,000 clicks, going to die soon) and my D3.
But, I'm sure you want to move on.
