I like the way the image registers visually, in part because of the peculiar assortment of objects and shapes. I also really like the symbolism in the piece and how well it ties back to the title: water, the life-giver, pictured as itself, along with one of its sources, along with objects in which it is contained and most significantly with one of the creatures that it gives life to. Nicely done. It gets a YES from me.flickr.com/groups/thejurors/discuss/72157600427480619/

Looking at this, I just get the feeling that I would find it much better if you had shot the scene straight on - not via the water/reflection. I think it may have been interesting enought, the boy, the bottles and then the reflection underneath. Or maybe if you had just left in a part of the real boy and what is above the pont/fountain, like a part of his torso but not the head, which would then have been visible in the water. Just a thought. It's a small NO for now, sorry.

Nice reflection, interesting detail. But an awkward composition and difficult to view. My eyes don't know where to focus. Sorry but it is a small NO from me for the main pool.
