As i'd said.. I research before i shoot. And for awhile i wonder why i haven't seen any sunrise shot on El Nido, that's because the island is facing west. And suddenly expand my boundaries, its a challenge for me. I think the only way to get a sunrise shot. . . is to shoot on the opposite side.
That's when i found this island. . . It's called HELICOPTER island. Coz' of the shape.
I was able to ask the bankeros to get me in this island by 5am in the morning. Then they said: YES, but we have to leave El Nido by 4am. And by dawn 3:45am, i was on the shores of El Nido waiting for my ride alone. The wind was freezing cold. I was very confident that i have a right light because it was raining the night before.
And there i was able to watch how amazing those limestone formation on various islands. Palawan Island is indeed beautiful. For some, it is referred to as "The Final Frontier". Once you've been here you realize why. Enchanting El Nido is truly breathtaking; many lives changed by this magical place.
