• If you look here, you can see a tangent function... attitude (said with a french accent)!! lol... arm up on the left, going down on the right!!
  • Can you see the cos graph created with these curtain folds?? In the picture it starts at the max, travels to the min, and then travels back up to the max again...
  • Of course if we shift to the right a little, this graph becomes a sine curve.... starting at the min and travelling to the max... see it??
  • If you stretch this a little, you will see a triangle... another part of trig... how fun is this??
  • Look its the X axis for our tangent trig function!!
  • can you see that these are rounded.... they form and arc length of pi!!
  • This is approx. the sinusoidal axis for the graphs! ... darn curtains make this hard :D
  • This and the x axis from the tangent functions above create a set of parallel lines..... if there were a bisector, there would be many different patterns with degrees here!!
  • This is a semi circle... therefore it is 180 degrees or pi radians!!
  • Max point
  • Min point

Curtain trigonometry!!

The world is filled with trig... even my living room apparently!! Without putting your cursor over the picture, can you see the trig within it?? lol... luckily i woke up on the couch this morning looked up and had a EUREKA moment :P... well this is my attempt so enjoy!!
