My TV with Bose Speakers

My TV with Bose Speakers

My 27" Olevia (a Black Friday special) with a pair of Bose Companion 2 speakers. For $500 this is a pretty nice set-up for one college kid who wants to enjoy HD and quality sound without having much space in his room.

Macbook, Eee PC, iPod Nano Size Comparison

Macbook, Eee PC, iPod Nano Size Comparison

And I thought my Macbook was small when I first got it! I bought the Eee PC as a "toy" because I saw how active the Mac OS X community was for it. I also threw my iPod Nano on top for size comparison reasons as well as to show it off. The Eee PC doesn't even go past the Macbook's keyboard!

Paint job by Colorware

Paint job by Colorware

If I were going to pay Colorware ( colorwarepc [dot] com ) to paint my iMac, here's what it would look like when it's done. The white and black are solid colors and meant to contrast (as well as pay respect to the previous generation of iMac, which was white like this) while I painted the logos in a metallic "candy apple," one because I thought it would look more interesting and two because I didn't want to have to stare at bright red all day.

We middle-class can dream, can't we?

What Mac Mini?

What Mac Mini?

It's really a shame. It's been over a year and a half since I last posted a picture of my setup. I don't even have that Mac Mini anymore, I sold it. I love my iMac (though I really want to get it painted by Colorware). In fact, the only things I still have from those old pictures are my speakers (there hasn't been a better 2.1 set-up yet), my Studio Edition My Book (though it's configured for Windows storage now (Boot Camp)), and the iPod Shuffle. The iMac, Touch, keyboard, mouse, Time Capsule ... all new. Still, it's a glorious set and a homage to Apple (and I guess, to a point, Logitech and Western Digital.)

And it's been upgraded to 4GB of RAM, of course.

Nintendo DS

Nintendo DS

I ended up getting the Crimson & Matte Black Nintendo DS Lite after giving my old Polar White Lite to my mom. I also gave her the copy of Brain Age 2 that came with it.
