Waiting for the interview.
I shot and rebuilt images to create a single collage to convey significant emotions in anticipation of a great interview experience. The client was completely impressed that I was able to create a deeper emotional link to the reader and strengthen the impact of the article well beyond expectation.

My client gave me a draft cover story about the interview process. With the economy being sluggish and so many people still out of work I thought it was essential to speak to the emotions that a potential job candidate goes through while waiting for the interview. My client thought it was an excellent idea as it opened up to the nervousness, the heightened competition, and extra stress associated with anticipating a great interview experience. A standard stock photo just wouldn't have had the emotional depth needed to be successful.

The article illustrations juxtapose the confidence on both sides of the desk over the best job candidate versus the multitudes waiting out in the lobby going through their emotional processes hoping to gain enough confidence by the time they are brought in for an interview.

After receiving a laundry list of his interests and retirement plans, I created this vibrant and humorous collage. My client was thrilled and felt that I had captured his spirit perfectly!

The client wanted me to develop completely unrelated looks for different internal marketing endeavors—only the fonts needed to be standardized to go with the limited selection already incorporated into the website. These are good examples of the variety of styles I can produce.
