Strobist: Elinchrom BX-Ri 500 w/44cm beauty dish (with sock) about 30° high camera right (subject is looking straight at the light, about 1.5m away). Black foam core on both sides of subject to kill stray light. Silver reflector below and in front of the subject for some fill. BX-Ri 500 with honeycomb grid (somewhere to the left of the subject) for spot lighting the middle grey background. Triggered with Skyports. Some post processing may have occurred.

I got to spend a couple of weeks working in Dili, Timor Leste, right at the beginning of the rainy season.

Every day, fishermen would set out in their double outrigger canoes, to catch small fish using fishing nets.

Sometimes, they would literally be caught out by the intense, torrential rain, and would have to stay off shore until they had retrieved their nets.

Didn't seem to bother them in the least, though.
