It's been a while that I've taken 'proper' photos, haven't the energy most of the time what with still working full time and being heavily preggers! But had a window of opportunity yesterday and managed to capture a few of the kid before the bubba arrives. My snatched moments seem to be mostly on the iPhone, which is better than nothing, but it felt good to get behind a 'proper' camera yesterday ;)

My baby will be 7 next week - where has the time gone?

I can't believe I haven't been on Flickr much lately over these past few months, Flickr was my lifeline! I know my priorities have changed since last year, (but still I was actively taking photographs), as it's always good to keep your hand in as much as you can with photography, but have been very lax with it of late, which is a shame, but hopefully I'll get into the groove of doing it once bubs has arrived, as I do want to document as much as I can, as I did with Luc.

Anyway, I have sort of been taking photographs - if only on my iPhone (I'm loving Instagram, Hipstagram at the moment) so I'll probably be more or less uploading them. It's obviously less time-consuming trying to upload from my normal camera and then processing them!

Sorry I've been mia on Flickr of late - haven't had the inclination or strength to take any photographs, have been busy in other areas of my so called life!

The only photographic evidence I have had is the 4D scan that we had take at the weekend of our forthcoming addition.

I'm sure that my photographs will only commence once the little 'un has arrived!

I photographed a wedding last Saturday, although not in it's entirety - it was only a 2 hour gig! Could do more of these!!!

One of them that stood out for me was this one, the groom was just in fits of laughter, and his best man (seen here on the right of the photo) was soooo funny and smiley LOL! There were a few lads that were just laughing and joking and this was one that I captured of the groom looking like he's just wet himself!

I haven't gotten round to processing them yet, so this is sooc. I've been through most of the photographs - and have to admit took quite a fair bit during the very short time I was there, when it comes to weddings I'm not one that is trigger happy, I wait for 'moments' to present itself, rather than keep clicking the shutter (just incase as some do). It was a bonus that it didn't rain (infact the sun came out and was quite warm) as they predicted it would be showers etc.

I also took my film camera to take some piccies in B&W, so that will be interesting...

I have to say that weddings is definitely not something I love to do, I do like being part of someone's day, and I enjoy the challenge don't get me wrong, but it's enormous pressure and for little ol' me can be quite a challenge! I think it stems from the group photos, I'm not a 'shouter' so I have to rely on the best man and/or volunteer from the wedding party to help rally the guests together. I do love the atmosphere at weddings (so obv. like being a guest rather than the one who has a black box stuck to her eye!) So I can safely say I'll leave it to the experts.

But this one was very easy and fun, so if I get more like this I'd be very happy!!!

On a really happier note (yes this post is verging on the sickenly 'happy' mode today!!) my gorgeous hubby bought me an IPad! It's ah-maz-ing! Why didn't we get one sooner? (And the photographs look better on screen too!)
